In Xiamen, there is an old building opposite the ferry pier. On one side of it is a small western style building, and on the other side is a towering modern building. This is the "first class post office site of Xiamen in Qing Dynasty" listed as a cultural relic protection unit by Xiamen municipal government. Now it is the "post and Telecommunications Branch of HaiHou road".
