Liuao mountain

Liuao mountain, also known as lu'ao mountain and Liukeng mountain, is located in Shipu area, Qiandeng Town, Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. There is a cemetery in Weijing. It turned out to be the beacon tower for coastal defense to transmit information when the Qin Dynasty unified China. The 1000th beacon tower was Qiandeng, the 101st was Liukeng mountain in Shipu, and the 99th was in Lu Jiekong lane.

Weijing (1159-1226), also known as Houle Jushi, is the number one scholar of Jiachen section in the 11th year of Chunxi (1184) of Southern Song Dynasty. The Wei family is a famous local family. Their ancestors were from Shandong Province. In the late Tang Dynasty, they moved to Huating County in Xiuzhou. From grandfather Wei Ti, there was a registered residence in Shi Pu, Kunshan county. His father Wei Jimin (also known as Fumin) also passed the entrance examination. He has successively served as the general judge of Zhenjiang Prefecture, the official of right admonishment, the official of Zhongshu Sheren and the Minister of rites. He once served as an envoy to the state of Jin, insisted on his position and did not give in to the state of Jin, and stated the plan of defending the Yangtze River for the imperial court.

Wei Jing had unusual behavior when he was young. He once studied under the guidance of Yongjia Li Quzhi. After Li Quzhi died, Wei Jing dressed in filial piety and presided over the funeral for him. After Wei Jing was the number one scholar in the middle of Wei Jing, he was granted the official title of chengshilang, and tianchai Zhendong army signed the judgment. Later, he successively served as the Secretary of provincial Zhengzi, collating Shulang, shushuzuo Lang, Gongju Shenshu Guan, huaidong and Zhedong tiju, living quarters, Minister of rites, Secretary of Privy Council and counsellor of politics. When he died at the age of 68, he was awarded the title of "Shaoshi" and "Duke of Qin" and posthumous title of "Wenjie".

At that time, Han kuozhou was in power with his relatives. He was envious of his talents and ability, and excluded his dissidents. Wei Jing refused to go with him and was dismissed from office. He returned to his hometown Shipu, Kunshan, and lived in seclusion for ten years. He opened the west garden, also known as Wei's garden, at the foot of liuao mountain. In the garden, there is Houyue hall. He took Fan Zhongyan's words "first worry about the world, then joy about the world". Prince Jingxian specially wrote a plaque for it. He also called himself "Houle Jushi", which echoed with Houle hall. In the west garden, Wei Jing enjoyed himself with bamboo and stone. He not only planted bamboo and plum, but also collected a lot of Taihu Lake stones to build rockery and decorate the garden. The lake rocks are strange and exquisite, and most of them are treasures. Later, the stones were scattered everywhere. GUI Youguang once bought one of the big stones from the Lu family and set it up in the east of the hall. This big stone is the famous stone of the state of Qin. GUI Youguang specially wrote the stone records of the Duke of Qin. Later, the stone was bought by the Qingpu family. Wei Jing has written 50 volumes of Xiyuan zayong and Houyue Ji.

Weijing tomb is about 4 meters high and 10 meters in diameter. It was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of Kunshan City in 2004.
