The annual number of visitors exceeds 600000 in Sanping scenic spot. Sanping scenic spot is mainly composed of Sanping temple, the "Pearl of Southern Fujian Buddhist kingdom", which is composed of eight ancient sceneries and thirteen modern sceneries. Eight ancient scenic spots: Longrui waterfall, Maoshi cave, monk pool, Guifeng, Hulin, Hupan spring, Shilang Pavilion and immortal Pavilion. Thirteen modern sceneries: waizigongling temple, Guangji garden, Baiguo village, waiziguan, guishexi, Jiulongbi, Buddha tablet, Zhuxi rafts, tingbaoxuan, Zhenyao hell, Yougu Lanpu, Yangsheng villa and Red Army memorial hall. So as to form natural and cultural landscape groups which are scattered, independent and interrelated. Sanping temple's poem signing culture is also very characteristic. It is full of incense and pilgrims as far as Southeast Asia, Europe and America. Highlights of the scenic spot: Sanping temple is a provincial-level scenic spot and cultural relic protection unit. The main building is commonly known as "three and a half halls", namely the pagoda hall, the ancestral hall, the main hall, and the heavenly king hall, which is only half hall. It is a famous Millennium old temple in Southern Fujian, known as the "Pearl of the Buddhist kingdom in Southern Fujian".
