Butterfly mountain park is located in the center of Baxi Bay in Yong'an City. It is a municipal leisure park. It is an important part of the development and construction of Baxi Bay, which is carried out simultaneously with the construction of Baxi Bay. The park is 12 square meters long, about 4 kilometers away from the city center. It is adjacent to Xin'an South Road, which runs through the north and south of Baxi Bay in the new district.

Original name

The two mountains in the park look like butterflies from high altitude, so it is named butterfly mountain park. The park is surrounded by residential areas, office areas and green land under construction or to be constructed. Looking to the west, the lush mountains and forests are overlapping, and the cooking smoke is curling; looking to the East, the winding Baxi river flows past.

Planning and design

It is planned and designed by Beijing turen landscape company, which respects the local culture of Yong'an, fully embodies the remote and simple folk customs of Yong'an "hometown of bamboo shoots" and the design concept of Baxi bay "reading mountains, smelling water, feeling green and pleasing feelings". Park planning and construction of main entrance plaza, viewing waterscape, sports park, climbing trail, park tour road, tea art, chess and art leisure places, twisting Flower Valley, etc., planting ornamental bamboo, camphor, Queens, Michelia, four seasons, Paulownia, camellia, Wutong and other bamboo trees, creating an ecological landscape leisure place, is a good place for public fitness recreation.

Butterfly mountain park officially started construction on September 1, 2003, with a planned investment of nearly 20 million yuan. The construction of the main entrance square, the climbing steps of the secondary entrance and the main road of the park has been completed with an investment of 5.5 million yuan. The main entrance square covers an area of nearly 10000 square meters, including front entrance square, butterfly dance Xiangyi square, performance square, artificial waterfall, false stone, water folding platform, leisure Pavilion, mountaineering path, night view project interwoven by century light column, crystal lamp, courtyard lamp, etc., and square greening, etc., which together form a beautiful and harmonious landscape; the climbing steps of the secondary entrance are wide Up to 16 meters, two straight lines, visitors from this step up, feel spectacular; 1.2 km long paved asphalt park main road winding in the park between the two mountains.

Butterfly Mountain Park was officially put into use during the bamboo shoot Festival on October 18, 2003, which will further improve the living ecological environment level of baxiwan and even Yong'an City.
