Tinghu scenic spot

Tinghu is 3.6 km northeast of the center of the county, with a reservoir capacity of 17.58 million cubic meters. The five isolated islands in the reservoir have their own characteristics. Taking Shuangfeng island as the center, the 4900 meter long reservoir area is divided into two parts. Shuangfeng island is 500 meters long and 250 meters wide. In the east of the island, due to the change of terrain, it looks like a huge mountain Eagle rushing to the water, so it means "the eagle strikes the water". On the West Bank of the lake, there is an island 700 meters long, 250 meters wide at the top of the water, and only 50 meters near the shore. It looks like a python that comes down from Bailong mountain in the northwest and absorbs water. The shape is lifelike, so it is called "boa constrictor absorbs water". The lake is surrounded by Shuangfeng island and Shetou island. It is divided into East, West and North. It is evenly located in three small islands of the same size in the lake. It is like three turtles floating on the surface of the water and playing with the water sucking python, which can be called "turtle and snake playing in the water".

The "Golden Coast" of Tinghu scenic spot in Yanshan County is one of the construction projects of Tinghu area, a provincial scenic spot of Yuxian lake.
