Yaogu Buyi Village

Yaogu village is located in the southwest of Yongkang Township, in the core area of the world heritage site, 18 kilometers away from the county. There are 63 households and 234 people in the village, all of whom are Buyi. Its economic source is mainly breeding industry, with a per capita income of 2046 yuan. In 2009, the masses of Yaogu village took shares in the form of Buyi style buildings and ethnic cultural resources to establish Libo and the first rural tourism professional cooperative in the province - "Yaogu village tourism professional cooperative", and set up folk dance performance team and Nuo opera performance team composed of the masses, which added a lot of cultural heritage to the village. The house here is a dry column building with the style of Bu nationality, commonly known as "Diaojiaolou". National festivals include "April 8", "June 6", "July half" and so on.
