Tomb of martyr Chen Guang

The tomb of martyr Chen Guang (1918-1949) was born in Meixian, Guangdong Province. During the war of liberation, he served as secretary of the CPC Guilin City Working Committee and engaged in underground work. On October 5, 1949, he was arrested for betraying a traitor. He suffered all kinds of torture in prison. He died bravely near the former North Railway Station on the night of November 11. He was only 31 years old when he was only 11 days away from the liberation of Guilin. The tomb is located in the West foot of Putuo, Qixing Park, Qixing District, Guilin city.
