Guanyin cave

Guanyin cave was originally named bainiujiao cave. There is a hall in the cave. There are holes in the cave, which are connected with each other. There are nine caves with different lengths around the hall, which are connected with moon cave and torch cave. There are more than 2000 statues of Guanyin in different shapes inside and outside the cave, known as "the largest Guanyin cave in Southeast Asia", which is the best place to display Guanyin culture.

Guanyin cave

Guanyin cave is at the West foot of Meiling in Yandang Mountain. The cave is like a large stone chamber, which is naturally generated. There is a stone pillar hanging to the ground in the cave, and there is a statue of Avalokitesvara carved on and around the cave. This Yandang Mountain is not high, but it is better than the unique volcanic geology, the changeable dangerous peaks, and the unique Guanyin cave. Guanyin is a well-known Buddhist idol among Chinese people. In Buddhism, Bodhisattva is second only to Buddha.

Historical evolution

In 1983, a statue of Guanyin was carved in the hall by Zhejiang Academy of fine arts. It has a kind and solemn look. At the back of the cave, there are ancient trees, huge stones and four characters of "Dashi reappear". Hidden in Hezhang peak, the cave is 113 meters high, 76 meters deep and 14 meters wide, with nine storey pavilions built according to the rock. It is the first cave of Yandang Mountain. Enter the gate to see the heavenly king hall. From the foot of the mountain to experience 403 level winding stone steps, to reach the top hall. The main hall is dedicated to the sitting statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, with 18 Arhats standing beside it. 300 Yingzhen are added on the cliff, which shows a school of Buddhism. There are three springs at the top of the cave, named Xixin, Shuyu and Shifu. Looking up at the top of the cave, there is a small hole in the middle, which is more than three feet wide and three or four feet long. There is a ray of light pouring down, which is called "a ray of sky". On the seventh floor, looking out from the cliff, you can see a finger of Guanyin on the left side, a side image of Guanyin in the middle, and a king of Tibetans on the right side.

Guanyin cave, built in 1106, has been full of tourists since Tang Dynasty. Guanyin cave was originally named Lingfeng cave, later changed to Luohan cave, and then changed to Guanyin Cave (in the Qing Dynasty).

Couplets

The three characters of Guanyin cave in the mountain gate were written by Zhao Puchu, a famous writer, poet, calligrapher and Buddhist.

The couplet at the gate of the mountain is written by Xie zhiliu, a famous contemporary calligrapher and painter from Wujin, Jiangsu Province As the saying goes, mountains are not high, but immortals are famous.

Hezhang peak

There is a natural cave in the palm of Hezhang peak, which is called Guanyin cave. The cave is 40 meters deep and 100 meters high. It is the largest cave in Yandang Mountain. There are 10 stories of buildings built on the cliff. It takes 377 stone steps to reach the highest hall. There are statues of Guanyin and eighteen Arhats in the hall. In addition, there are three springs in the cave: Xixin, Shuyu and yiwisp. Deng Tuo, a scholar, wrote a poem: "the two peaks in one hand are the fairyland, the nine fold dangerous buildings are hidden in the cave, and the jade liquid is flowing in the sky. Don't ask about it."

1. Passenger shuttle bus

Kunming Qiubei Puzhehei: take the Kunming Qiubei bus at Kunming east bus station for about 300 kilometers. The departure time and ticket price are 9:00 (137 yuan), 10:00 (114 yuan), 11:00 (114 yuan), 12:30 (137 yuan), 14:00 (114 yuan), 20:10 (138 yuan) and 20:30 (138 yuan). The last two buses are sleeping berths and the other buses are seats. There are 13 buses from Qiubei County to Puzhehei scenic spot Li, you can also take the bus from Qiubei passenger station to Puzhehei, 8:00-17:30 every day, half an hour to an hour, the fare is 2 yuan

2. Airplanes

You can take a plane to Wenshan Puzhehei airport, which is located in Yanshan County, more than 80 kilometers away from the scenic spot. You need to Take Wenshan Qiubei bus (7:00-18:00, 10 minutes, fare 31 yuan) to Qiubei County, and then transfer to bus to Puzhehei scenic spot. It's troublesome. I don't recommend it. You can also take a taxi directly from the airport to Puzhehei at a cost of 100-200 yuan
