Bamei village is located at the junction of Bada Township and ake Township in the north of Guangnan County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The village is surrounded by mountains and is not connected to the highway. The access to the village is mainly by the two natural limestone karst caves in front of and behind the village. Villagers have to feel the rock wall for wading, support bamboo rafts, canoe, and take a boat. Only after several kilometers of dark water caves can they get in and out. Because of its remote location and inconvenient transportation, it is difficult to communicate with the outside world. Bamei village was isolated from the outside world for a long time and was in a closed and semi closed state. Few people know that there is a beautiful Zhuang village in the cave. There are 119 households and more than 600 people in Bamei village, all registered as Zhuang nationality. It is said that two or three hundred years ago, in order to avoid the war, the ancestors of the Han people, surnamed Huang and Li, traveled from huguangfu, Guangdong Province. Somehow, they found this small isolated paradise. They started farming here, worked hard, and gradually expanded. They intermarried with more than a dozen Zhuang people who originally lived in Bamei and other Zhuang people outside the mountain. They gradually evolved into Zhuang people and lived a self-sufficient, harmonious and peaceful life from generation to generation. The stockade is ancient and beautiful. The tall banyan trees are luxuriant and leafy, and the huge root plates are exposed on the ground according to the joints. There are more than 100 Zhuang families living in the malanlou, which is close to the mountain. Most of them belong to the sand branch of the indigenous people in the village. When you enter the village, you can see women wearing pajiao, black and blue skirts and embroidered shoes pushing and grinding in front of the homemade artificial stone mill, spinning and weaving in front of the ancient wooden textile machine, embroidering on the homespun cloth dyed with indigo leaves from the mountains, men carrying firewood back to the big rack, and children and old people carrying bamboo buckets to carry water in the spring to store it in the homemade stone vat It's for the family. Bamei village also has strong Zhuang Traditional Culture and colorful folk activities. Every year, the village holds dragon worship, ancestor worship, fish enclosure, duel song, Longya Wai, huanuomi Festival, cockfighting, poxianbo, night planting Shentian, lion playing, leaf ball kicking, shuttlecock kicking and other activities according to season. Weddings and funerals are strictly carried out according to the custom and etiquette, and so far, they have kept sitting at home, blowing leaves and talking Traditional festivals, such as celebrating the Spring Festival (Yang LIULANG) and the third of March, are held in accordance with the time. The unique folk activities publicize the ancient symbols of Zhuang culture. The folk songs of Bamei village include creation songs, history songs, love songs, labor songs, etc., the dances include sand plays, ancient weapons dances, etc., and the literature includes myths and legends, legends of mountains and rivers, legends of nongzhigao uprising, etc. The houses in Bamei village are mainly in the style of floor and half floor. The main house is made of wooden boards, surrounded by branches, and then covered with clay made of mud and cow dung. It is very ventilated and warm. It is covered with tile roof, holding box, front cooling bar or fence. People live upstairs, and livestock and sundries are closed downstairs. The local Zhuang people call it malanlou, and some people call it Diaojiaolou. These old-fashioned residential buildings, such as malanlou, are the living fossils of Zhuang Traditional Architecture. The food, clothing, production tools and living utensils of the villagers in Bamei village are basically produced by themselves up to now. In the stockade, there are water tankers, canoes, artificial stone mills, water mills, wooden pestles, water textile machines, wood oil presses, single wood bellows, wooden pear cakes, wooden back firewood racks, wooden ladders, wooden chopping boards, wooden lamp racks, wooden triangle single wheeled firewood pushers, bamboo buckets, gourd wine pots and wooden wooden wooden lamps Storage, stone jar, stone box and other production and living tools. Their simplicity solidifies history and conveys ancient cultural information. The clothes worn by the villagers in Bamei village are all made of hand-made homespun cloth. The whole process of planting cotton, spinning, weaving, bleaching and dyeing, garment making and local flowers are all done by hand at home. Women's dress includes Black Plaid, Cape Wrap, black, blue, purple round collars, narrow sleeves, narrow waist, left oblique flap, bird wing round dress, black pleats and trousers, and embroidered cloth shoes; casual wear includes Black Plaid, flower scarf, green, blue, black, white round collars, wide sleeves, wide waist, left oblique flap round dress, and black trousers, Embroidered cloth shoes; men's wear is black bandanna, black cardigan, wide crotch pants. Bird shaped clothing is related to the bird worship of ancient Zhuang people. There is little difference between the clothes of local Sha people and Nong people. The Bamei people have been farming for generations, and they still have a self-sufficient small-scale peasant economic and social form, which vividly reflects the pastoral taste of Zhuang farming society, such as men and women, chickens and dogs, and harmonious neighborhood. Their current production and life style, customs, beliefs and worship well preserve the ancient traditional cultural characteristics of Zhuang people Villagers "continue to develop the ancient Zhuang culture under the condition of self-sufficient farming economy.". Bamei village is indeed a rare "paradise" in China in the 21st century.
