Chili peak is located in Langshan, Xinning County, Hunan Province. It is composed of a huge stone, 180 high, big on the top and small on the bottom. The perimeter of the stone top is about 100. It is red and prismatic. Standing on the ground and looking up at it, you can see the prismatic boulder towering into the clouds like a giant pillar. It is magnificent and precipitous. From a distance, it looks like a giant chili pepper, beautiful and magical. The "deep valley" formed by the angle between chili peak and Yunlong ridge is spectacular and beautiful. A dragon ridge extends 200 meters, with beautiful peaks, just like a green air corridor.

General situation

Chili peak scenic spot is the earliest scenic spot in Langshan, mainly including chili peak, Luotuofeng, linjiazhai, egong village, candle peak, yixiantian, Longkou Chaoyang and other scenic spots.

When you enter the chili peak scenic area, the first thing you see is linjiazhai yixiantian. The peak elevation of linjiazhai is 153.4 meters. The Stone Lane "yixiantian" in the middle of the village is 60 meters long and 40 meters high. The narrowest gap is only 0.5 meters. At noon, the sun shines into the gap from above, mottled and colorful. There are two beautiful canyons beside the linjiazhai, lover's Valley and ghost's valley. The confrontation between the two valleys is deep and quiet. As the name suggests, there are also sad and beautiful love stories here.

Tracing back to the source of the Shitian stream and passing through the Fuding mountain, you can see a camel, which seems to be galloping in the wild - "Luotuofeng". It is composed of four stone peaks, head, body, spine, tail, scattered, very realistic image. The camel is 273 meters long and 187.7 meters high. Beside the camel peak, there is "candle peak", which looks like a red candle straight into the sky. On the southwest side of the peak, the height is 217.8 meters, the perimeter is 400 meters, the top is round, the surrounding cliffs are tall and straight, which is a rare unique landscape in Danxia landform.

At the foot of the cliff to the east of candle peak, there is a huge natural gap, which is 100 meters long, 50 meters deep and 0.4-1.8 meters wide. The upper and lower rocks are as flat as knives. It looks like a giant dragon, opening a huge mouth with an inclination of 40 degrees to the East. Every morning at 11 o'clock, the sun shines directly from Longkou to the bottom of the gap, forming a spectacular scene of "Longkou Chaoyang".
