Dimen Dong Village

Dimen Dong village is located in the north of MaoGong Township, Liping County, with more than 1300 households, known as "thousand three dimen". The origin of the name of dimen village, according to the ancestors of the old people, is that after the ancestors of the Dong nationality settled here, the population was developed, and soon developed to 1300 households. Later, it was divided into 700 households in MaoGong, 200 households in ladong and 100 households in Luoda. Dimen is the root of "Qiansan". In order to commemorate this birthplace, people named it "dimen" in Dong language. In Chinese, it means that this place is like a spring, which has a long history and is worth remembering. In the May 2008 issue, dimen had a 24 page introduction. The villagers here also visited the United States with national leaders and were received by Mrs. Obama at the White House. Although dimen Dong village has experienced many times of tourism development, it has failed. There are almost no tourists here on weekdays. It is extremely quiet, so it is very suitable for tourists who love quiet.

Traffic information: (1) take the shuttle bus from Liping county to MaoGong township or Rongjiang County, get off the intersection of dimen, walk for 4km, and enter dimen in about 1 hour

(2) From Liping to dimen, we recommend Master Wu of dimen, 13595544815. He is familiar with the terrain and drives steadily. There are many mountains and bumpy roads along the way. When you get to dimen, if you have time, you can go to dengcen (1.3km) nearby, or take a ride to ladong (8km).
