Qilin Park

Qilin is the legendary benevolent beast. In history, the ancestors of Shuicheng regarded Qilin as their eternal mascot, hoping for the prosperity of their descendants and the elimination of ominous things. He also put it in folk proverbs, such as "Qilin son in heaven, number one scholar on earth". "The upper bell to the lower bell, loess in the middle, if you can recognize broken, children and grandchildren sit in the court" and so on. These ancient proverbs have been handed down to the present day and become the goals and wishes of the local people in the spiritual and material world. In folklore, Kirin has a close relationship with Confucius, the founder of Confucianism. It is said that Qilin wrote jade books at Confucius' gate and Confucius became a sage, a great thinker and educator. For thousands of years, the legend of this Lin culture has been flourishing. It is consistent with the idea that people in modern society attach importance to education and cultivate their children and grandchildren.

Qilin park is a theme park based on the Qilin culture formed by the Chinese nation for more than 2500 years. Confucian culture theme elements are integrated into the design and construction of the scenic spots in the planning and design ideas. There are renshouxuan, Linrui waterfall, Qilin Pavilion, Qilin platform, YinChi, zhuangyuanlou and other architectural landscapes in the park, which strive to highlight the Qilin cultural characteristics and reflect people's idea of "harmony between man and nature" and their psychological expectation of pursuing auspiciousness and happiness. In the park, from north to south, there are elderly leisure landscape area, Qilin culture landscape area, meteorological science popularization landscape area, children's game landscape area, seedling bonsai viewing area and sports landscape area on both sides of the central axis of the park. Combining it with the landscape of Qilin cave in the National Geopark, there are mountains in the city, caves in the mountains, water in the cave, dense clocks and milk on the water, and connected caves. It is a three-dimensional cultural theme park with mountaineering, sightseeing, cave exploration and boating. Qilin Park

Qilin park is located in the center of Qujing City, Yunnan Province. The park was built in 1983, covering an area of 150 mu. The main entrance is tall and majestic, magnificent and full of national characteristics. The pavilions, platforms, buildings, pavilions and other buildings in the park are antique, with exquisite and elegant layout and full of charm.

Main attractions

In the park, the mountains are reflected, the waves are shining, and the pavilions and pavilions are reasonably arranged, which are complementary to the liaokuo park. It has the reputation of "the most beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, and the pavilions compete with Suzhou and Hangzhou". The main gate is tall and majestic. It is composed of two ancient pavilions with a pair of Unicorns standing on the left and right. On the front and back of the top of the gate tower are dragons and phoenixes, which means that dragons and phoenixes are auspicious. On the right is the bonsai garden, which is composed of winding corridors, exhibition halls, flower and tree shops and waterside pavilions. In the west of the lake is yingyue building, in front of which the green waves are rippling and the stone lotus is in full bloom. When the bright moon is in the sky, the lake separated by the stone arch bridge and the Lotus Bridge becomes a wonderland of three pools reflecting the moon. In the center of the lake, there are three main scenic spots: East Island, Lake Island and plum blossom island. It is a good place for citizens and tourists to have leisure and entertainment. It is also a famous scenic spot in Qujing. The Xiaoxiang building on the island in the middle of the lake is natural and graceful. The garden buildings with different styles, such as the Yingying Pavilion, the Academy Pavilion and the Qixian Pavilion, form a beautiful picture with the leisurely boat in the lake.
