Caiyundong scenic spot in Zhanyi County

This is the praise of local people in Zhanyi County of Qujing City to Caiyun cave by Huashan lake. Among the numerous karst caves in Yunnan, the Caiyun cave may not be familiar to people, but it is a very deep, strange and colorful underground cave, which has been gradually developed recently and shows its bright light.

Caiyun cave is a natural dark cave, located at the tail of Huashan lake, 30 km from the county seat in the South and 20 km from the source of the Pearl River in the north. The length of the cave is about 3 km. The cave is spacious and the side caves are mixed. Generally, it is 20-30 meters wide and 30 meters high, and is naturally divided into six different scenic spots by stalactites.

The first hall is spacious, mainly with stone curtains and stone waterfalls; the second hall is divided into several layers, one layer for each heaven and earth, such as xiuba bamboo grove and Huabiao dragon pillar; the third hall is mainly with stone flowers and stalactites, such as crisscross paths, with ten scenes in one step; the fourth hall is narrow and gloomy; the fifth hall is also known as pan snake cave, with many things coiled and twisted together, big and small The sixth hall is as dense as the stalactite forest, but it is not the end of Caiyun cave and is still under further development.
