Zhu Ziqing's former residence
Zhu Ziqing (1898-1948), a modern Chinese essayist and poet, was born in Shaoxing, Jiangsu Province.
Zhu Ziqing's former residence was built in Qing Dynasty, which is a typical "Sanheyuan" building in Yangzhou. It is a provincial key cultural relic protection unit, patriotism education base and small citizen demonstration base, and is open to the outside world as a historical district scenic spot of famous city protection. When I came to my former residence, the first thing I saw was the plaque of "Zhu Ziqing's former residence" hanging above the door opening, which was inscribed by Comrade Jiang Zemin.
Zhu Ziqing's former residence was built in the late Qing Dynasty. It is still in good condition today. It has three rooms, one balcony and one control room. It has two guest rooms, one gate, one aisle and one patio. It is a traditional folk house in Yangzhou. In 1982, it was designated as a municipal cultural relics protection unit. Zhu Ziqing (1898-1948), formerly known as Zihua, was named Peixian and named Qiushi. His ancestral home is Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. He was born in Donghai County, Jiangsu Province. His grandfather and father both settled in Yangzhou. He himself graduated from the eighth middle school of Jiangsu Province (now Yangzhou middle school) in Yangzhou, and later worked as a teacher in Yangzhou, so he called himself Yangzhou. "In the world, Yangzhou is the third part of the moon night and the second part of the rogue." Yangzhou, an ancient land moistened by the Grand Canal, has a long history and is full of talents. The narrow lane you just walked through is called Anle lane. The former residence of Zhu Ziqing, a famous modern essayist, educator, poet, scholar and democratic fighter, is located in the 27th courtyard of this alley
