Shaoxing children's Park Shaoxing children's Park is located in the west end of Huiyuan bridge on Renmin Road, covering an area of 21000 square meters. It was built by Zhao Zhuo, a wealthy businessman of Kuaiji in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty. His son Zhao Zhen, whose name is Dingcheng, was expanded in the original site and renamed "Shengyuan", commonly known as "Zhaoyuan". According to Daoguang's Kuaiji county annals draft, "since the Shen garden in the Song Dynasty, this is the most beautiful scenery in Yuecheng.". There are 12 sceneries in the park, including qingcuilou, Huaxi, tingyueqiao, Liuji, Hechi, songtaoxuan, platform, tianxiangju, Zhupo, tonglang, xiuyeting and Meiyu.

During the reign of Xianfeng, pavilions, pavilions, rare birds and flowers were destroyed by the fire. In 1932, he changed his name to "Bannong garden". After repair, he added Meilin, Hechi, rockery and quqiao, and built three fine houses in Linhe pond, which was named "incense reading studio". After the fall of Shaoxing, the garden was once uninhabited, the houses were in disrepair, and the landscape was ruined.

Historical evolution

At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, jintanghou donated the garden to the people's government and renamed it people's Park for people to visit.

In 1978, the state funded the renovation and built it into a children's Park.

In 1979, the city's landscape management office moved to this office and built a new willow lotus Pavilion, covering an area of 150 square meters. It was turned into a bonsai garden mainly for cultivating five needle pine.

In 1992, an investment of 8 million yuan was invested to expand the park area to 2.4 hectares. After expansion, the east area is mainly water recreation, with a number of recreational facilities such as "torrent brave advance", "water rowing", "Grand View cable car", "elevated car", "double skyscraper" and "bumper car", and a variety of green areas such as architectural sketches, lawn and jungle.

In 1995, another 8 million yuan was invested to build the first real ice skating rink and lawn in the province.
