Taohuatan Town, belonging to Jing County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, is located in the west of Xuancheng City, in the core area of xuanhuichi, near Qingyang County in the west, overlooking Huangshan District in the south, close to Taiping Lake and the source of Qingyi River.

An "advertisement" in "to Wang Lun" by Li Bai, a great poet of Tang Dynasty, made taohuatan famous all over the world.

In 1958, it belonged to Baohe commune. In 1961, it was established as Shuidong commune. Later, it was renamed as Chencun commune. In 1984, it was changed into Chencun township. In 1987, it was built into Chencun town. In 1997, it covers an area of 86 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It governs nine village committees, namely, Lvlin, Longtan, Zhonghe, Sanlian, Shuikou, Lianhong, taotan, Taodong and Xinmin. After the adjustment of village level zoning, taohuatan town governs six villages, namely Longtan, Xinmin, taohuatan, Lianhong, Shuikou and taohuadu.

Attachment: Baohe township is located in the southwest of Jing County, 31 kilometers away from the county. The Baohe commune was established in 1959 and the township was changed in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 61.8 square kilometers and has a population of 9000. It has jurisdiction over 8 village committees, namely Sanhe, Wencun, suling, Qingxi, Gaoyuan, Hexi, Baocun and Dahe. The historic site is baodazhifang in Ming Dynasty.

Taohuatan town is located at the source of Qingyi River, in the southwest of Jing County, 43 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Maolin town in the East, Huangshan City in the South and Jiuhua Mountain in the West. 322 provincial road runs through the whole town. There are the largest hydropower station in the province Chencun Hydropower Station and the vast Taiping Lake. During the reign of Tang Tianbao, Wang Lun, a hero in Jingxian County, was overjoyed to hear that Li Bai, the great poet, had gone south to live in Li Bingyang's uncle's home in Nanling. He wrote to Li Bai: "how do you like to travel, sir? There are ten li peach blossoms here. Do you like to drink, sir? There are ten thousand hotels here. " Li Bai went happily. When he arrived in Jingxian County, Li Bai asked Wang Lun where the Taoyuan restaurant was. Wang Lun replied, "peach blossom is the name of Tanshui, there is no peach blossom. Wanjia is the owner of the shop. There is no Wanjia hotel. " Li Bai laughed.

On the day Li Bai left, Wang Lun gave him eight famous horses and ten bundles of silk, and sent his servants to deliver them to the ship. After giving a farewell banquet at home, Li Bai boarded the boat on the peach blossom pool. The boat was about to leave the shore when he heard a burst of singing. Li Bai looked back and saw Wang Lun and many villagers walking on the bank singing to see him off. Li Bai was deeply moved by the host's deep friendship and simple way of seeing off guests. He immediately spread paper and ink, and wrote the eternal masterpiece "to Wang Lun", which made taohuatan famous.
