Nanjing Hydrangea Park

Hydrangea park is located in the northwest of Yijiang gate in Nanjing, with a total area of 9.53 hectares. It is named after Hydrangea mountain in the park. The crossing victory Memorial Hall and crossing Victory Monument were built here. There are Xiuqiu mountain, Ma Niangniang Jiaoying East Lake, Guanyu pond, Xiyuan three islands and other landscapes. Xiuqiu mountain is located in the north corner of the park, with the remaining veins of lion mountain and the south of lion mountain, forming the trend of "lion plate embroidered ball". Ma Niangniang's footprints, 84 cm long, 31 cm wide and 25 cm deep, are located on the huge stone on the west side of the pavilion on the top of the mountain. Next to it is the statue of Ma Niang Niang, which is 2.5 meters high. East Lake is located in the middle of the park, with a water surface of more than 2.55 hectares, weeping willows on the lake bank, and yachts in the lake. The fish watching pool is located in the west of the East Lake, just separated from the East Lake by a dike. There are rockery and other rocky rocks for visitors to watch fish in the water. Xiyuansan island is located in the north of Guanyu pond, covering an area of 0.08 hectares. Xiyuanshan island and Guanyu pond are separated by a corridor, which is 53.42 meters long and 3.3 meters wide. Visitors can enjoy the three islands of Xiyuan in the north, the fish pond in the South and the beautiful scenery of mountain, water, city and forest in the East. The landscape city forest, contained in the garden, is an elegant Jiangnan landscape garden with compact landscape, bright and light.
