Lianhua Village (formerly Lianshi township) belongs to Lianhua village, Longsheng Town, Qijiang District, Chongqing. It is located at the easternmost end of Longsheng Town, with Nanchuan in the East and Banan in the west, facing the town. It is the economic and cultural distribution center of the three districts, with an altitude of more than 900 meters. In 2001, Lianhua village was established under the jurisdiction of Longsheng Town. Lianhua village has 1700 registered residence population (plus two people in Lianshi primary school and Lianshi middle school), with 1600 temporary residents and a total population of 3300. It covers an area of 4.5 square kilometers, with more than 2000 mu of forest, more than 3400 mu of arable land and 12 km of village roads. Lianhua Mountain is a summer resort for leisure and vacation.
