Baijiahu

Baijia lake is the largest lake in Jiangning District of Nanjing City, and the second largest lake in Nanjing city after Xuanwu Lake.

Baijiahu lake is located in the core area of Jiangning Development Zone in Nanjing City: West of Shuanglong Avenue, north of Tianyuan middle road and east of Liyuan Road. Its water surface area is about 2500 mu. It is said that it was dug in Hongwu year of Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. Because there were more than 100 families at that time, it was called baijiahu. There are four bridges on Baijia lake. Among them, Bailong bridge spans the center of the lake, with a length of about 1000 meters, which is quite spectacular.

To the east of baijiahu is fenghuangtai, which was built in 1999 and is one of the landmark buildings of "new Nanjing in the new century". The free and open Bailong square centered on this landscape is the largest public leisure Square in Nanjing, which is rated as "Nanjing star citizen leisure square", thus forming a new tourist attraction in Nanjing. The "hundred families enjoying the moon" on the night of full moon has become a new well-known scenic spot in Nanjing. Some important public welfare activities in Nanjing and Jiangning District are recorded in the square.

Because of the beautiful scenery of baijiahu, the three industries and service industries here seem to be self-contained: baijiahu and famous cultural garden, which focus on the surface of the lake, have become well-known and mature real estate industries in Nanjing; Jinling Hotel, shuixiuyuan Hotel and Golden Century Garden Hotel alternate with each other, among which are the top three hotels in Jiangning;
