Baishuihu park is located on the West Bank of baishuihu in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, on the east side of Changhong North Road and Binjiang Road in the north, at the intersection of two main roads.

The park was built on the basis of the original low-lying and old houses in 2000. The total area of the park is 39.6 hectares, including 26.4 hectares of land area and 13.2 hectares of water area, with a green space rate of 84.23%. The design of the park fully considers the combination of freedom and symmetry, and gives full play to the comprehensive three-dimensional effect of plant landscaping. The park was completed and opened to the public in October 2001.

The planning structure of the park adopts the "one belt, one axis" layout. "One belt" is a 6-meter-wide freestyle road running through the whole park. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Baishui lake and the magnificence of the Yangtze River Bridge by walking along the lakeside path; "one axis" connects the main entrance of the park in the north and the waterfront cruise Wharf in the south from the turntable at the roundabout of Binjiang Road and Changhong North Road to the lakeside. A small square is arranged in the middle of the central axis for visitors to rest and entertainment. As the visual center of the park, the axis is simple and comfortable. Landscape paths are set on both sides of the central axis, many rest squares are set on both sides of the central axis, and several viewing platforms are set near the water to increase the viewing atmosphere. Supporting public toilets are planned and arranged on the central square for convenience Visitors and park management, the main entrance of the park is designed full of modern flavor and European style gate, so that the whole park along the city road landscape level, connected into a line.

The green layout adopts a combination of free style and regular style, making full use of the existing terrain characteristics, reasonable organization, making use of the curve beauty and the beautiful natural scenery of Baishui lake, organizing the landscape by planting various S-shaped flower hedge patterns with different deformations on the lawn, and surrounding the flower hedge patterns with hedges, forming a unique and unified landscape. In order to create a clear and ornamental green landscape, Platycladus orientalis shaping trees are planted on both sides of the landscape, and flower beds are set up on the central square, so as to form a park green system with the combination of "point, line and surface". In a word, the whole green layout makes the park landscape rich and colorful, and the landscape changes with the seasons, fully showing the magnificent and beautiful landscape of Baishui Lake Park as the north gate of the city.

In green planting, we should pay attention to the diversity of plant configuration, and plant flowers and trees blooming in different seasons. The plants are mainly evergreen trees, with deciduous shrubs as embellishment. The lawn is paved with Manila grass, and the trees and shrubs are mainly conifer, snow in June, Rhododendron, oleander, Ligustrum lucidum, weeping willow, Michelia, rose, Begonia, etc.

The buildings in the park are evenly distributed in the visual focus, mainly small, few and refined, and the number of floors is controlled on one floor. The design style is characterized by bright color, simple shape and full of modern flavor, so that the buildings in the park and the surrounding landscape can set off and cooperate with each other. The night design of the park layout reflects the people-oriented principle, so that the park can also show its charming style at night. In 2007, it expanded 14 hectares, developed and afforested the low-lying land along the Yangtze River at both ends of the Yangtze River Bridge, added "white water pearl Exhibition Center" and other infrastructure facilities in the park, adjusted the greening layout in the park, planted a large number of aquatic plants, expanded the waterscape of the Park, and enriched the landscape level of the park. More than 60 plant varieties were added, 50000 trees, 1 million shrubs and 50000 m2 lawn were planted.
