Fengchi Mountain Forest Park

Fengchi mountain was once called Cuiping mountain and Fengzi mountain. Because of its towering mountain shape and thousands of emerald hills, it is located in the south of Tongyang City, which seems to build a natural barrier for the mountain city, so it is named Cuiping mountain. In the old days, there were a large number of maple and catalpa trees on the mountain, so it was also named Fengzi mountain. Later generations named Fengchi mountain after the rocky pool in the mountain and the legend that Phoenix often gathered to play. Fengchi mountain covers a total area of 482 hectares, with the highest peak at 462 meters above sea level and the lowest at 75.5 meters above sea level. It is close to national highway 106, 5 kilometers away from the exit of Tongshan section of Shanghai Ruili Expressway under construction, and only 37 kilometers away from the hot spring where Xianning municipal government is located. At the foot of the mountain is Tongyang old city, which has great regional advantages. Fengchi mountain is not only the barrier of the county, but also the gateway to all the mountains. It is known as "swallow the panorama of Tongshan, accept the wonderful scenery of Jiangnan".
