Han tomb at shuwangdun
Shuwangdun Han tomb is located in Huagang Town, Feixi County, Anhui Province. It is only 50 meters away from national highway 206 and covers an area of about 4000 square meters. It is the largest wooden coffin tomb in Western Han Dynasty excavated by archaeologists in Feixi County.
According to historical records, the tomb is the tomb of Liu Xin, Marquis of Gengjie in the Western Han Dynasty. Although it has been stolen for many times, a large number of valuable cultural relics have been unearthed in recent years, including 8.2-meter-long coffin and more than 300 pottery coins. In addition, more than 70 precious cultural relics such as agate, bronze, ceramics, lacquerware and bone horn ware were unearthed from the tomb.
According to experts, the value of this Han tomb lies in its large scale and unique funerary objects. It is a cultural relic scenic spot worthy of protection and development. Feixi County will carry out the construction of the gate of the scenic spot and some landmark facilities, and then build the Museum of "shuwangdun Han tomb" in four steps.
