Daijiagou

Daijiagou (xingxinggou) is a tributary of Beisha river. It originates from wulitai village, wanbaoqiao street. It flows through Dengta City, wanbaoqiao street and Gucheng street. In the middle, it passes through Changda railway and Shenda expressway. Gaolihuang in xiheishantun village, Gucheng street and gexi river flow into Beisha river. The river is 20.9 km long and the drainage area is 91.3 square kilometers. The middle and lower reaches of the river are located in the low-lying area of the ancient city streets, and the dikes are thin and small. In addition, the flood of Beisha River in flood season often leads to waterlogging.

Basic introduction

The place name, located in Tianfu town, Beibei District, Chongqing, at the south foot of Huaying Mountain, is named after the majority of Dai surnames in the area under its jurisdiction. It used to be daijiagou commune and daijiagou Township, with nine brigades (villages) including Qingfeng, Datian, Longtang, daijiagou, Guihua, Shifo, Qingtan, xinwan and Shijia. It was withdrawn in 1985 and merged with Wenxing Township into Tianfu town.

Located in the north-east of Beibei City, the terrain presents a typical north-south trend of "one mountain, three ridges and two troughs". It connects Jingguan town of Yubei District in the East, houfengyan of Beibei District in the south, yangliuba of Hechuan District in the north, Dongyang town of Beibei District in the west, 58 km away from the main urban area of Chongqing and 13 km away from the main urban area of Beibei. Xiangyu railway and Beiyi highway run through the whole area. Town level trunk roads and rural roads connect all over the villages, so the traffic is convenient. It is the birthplace of Tianfu coal mine and the first railway in Sichuan history to transport coal to Baimiaozi of Jialing River. The starting point of Beichuan railway is daijiagou. It was once the seat of Tianfu Mining Bureau.
