Mingfeng mountain scenic spot in Yuan'an County

In the west of Yuan'an County of Yichang City, there stands an independent peak, called Mingfeng mountain. Yuan Zhongdao's description of Mingfeng mountain is "the general roaring like a phoenix". Mingfeng mountain Taoist temple was built in the period of emperor Liang Wu of the northern and Southern Dynasties. It has a history of more than 1500 years. During this period, it was expanded and repaired several times. In the period of Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty, the temple reached its peak. It is in line with the Quanzhen School of Wudang Mountain, echoing the saying that "Wudang is far away, Mingfeng is dangerous".
