Yulong Lake scenic spot in Liaoning Province is located in Yulong Town, Fengcheng City, 41 km away from Fengcheng City and 40 km away from Dandong City. Yulong lake is formed by a 320 meter concrete dam intercepting the tuniu River, with a storage capacity of 186 million cubic meters and a dragon like shape, hence the name "Yulong Lake".

Introduction

The small area of the scenic spot has a mild and humid climate, numerous landscape resources, vast lakes and mountains, natural landscape and unique folk customs give people a sense of detachment. The natural landscape has its own system, which is the most significant feature of Yulong lake landscape resources.

The main body of the scenic spot is Tumen reservoir, which is the only national second type reservoir in Fengcheng City and the first masonry gravity dam type reservoir in Dandong City. In 1983, it was approved as a municipal scenic spot by Dandong Municipal government, covering an area of 58 square kilometers. It is a large pollution-free tourist area in Liaoning Province. The main scenic spots are Baqian District, Lake District and Yulong district. Yulong Lake Resort, fishing villa, Longzhu island and other tourist facilities are built. Lotus pool, fishing pool and natural bath are newly built. Cruise ships and speedboats are provided for tourists. The annual reception of tourists is 100000.

Tourism information

The best tourist season of Yulong Lake scenic spot is from May to October every year. The best season is from July to August. It is a good place for swimming and fishing.
