Zhanlongya is located in kuanchuan Township, Ningqiang County, Shaanxi Province. It belongs to hilly landform and is an agricultural village.

Brief introduction of Zhalong ya

This is not the name of Zhalong ya. There is a hill here, which looks like a dragon, winding for several kilometers. It is said that there was a dragon living in the cave in ancient times. Every summer, it would give a dream to the local people and ask for several unmarried girls to be offered for their pleasure. If we do not do so, there will be floods or droughts to punish the people. One year, a passing Lama, after hearing about it, fought with the dragon for seven days and nights to save the common people, and finally beheaded him. To commemorate this event, the people changed the name of this place to Zhalong ya.

After liberation, agricultural cooperatives were set up, and this place was renamed double five brigade. After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, the name of Zhalong Ya was restored. Zhelongya village has jurisdiction over four rivers, two rivers, two ditches, mengjiagou, etc. There were 11 villager groups in the village, which were reduced to 7 villager groups after 2006.

Zhanlongya village is mainly agricultural planting, and there is a small amount of mining.

Through their own efforts, most of the Zhalong Ya people who are distributed all over the country have become elites in all walks of life. Others have set up their own companies.
