Located at the junction of Dazu District, Tongliang district and Yongchuan District of Chongqing, with an average altitude of 778 meters, it is one of the "Ten Little scenic spots in Chongqing".

Introduction to scenic spots

Bayue mountain was called nukun mountain in ancient times, because the huge stone at the top of the peak looks like a censer, also known as Lufeng mountain. In Song Dynasty, it was renamed Bayue mountain because of its picturesque peaks, lush forest and bamboo, and its location in the outskirts of Bachuan county.

It is composed of 35 towering peaks. The main peak, Xianglu peak, is 780 meters above sea level, the second largest peak in Tongliang County. The Bayue mountains are like a giant dragon, so the beautiful scenery of Bayue is known as "Bayue dragon", and it has become one of the "Ten Little scenic spots in Chongqing".

Bayue mountain, with its steep peaks, overlapping peaks, deep and quiet distance, is rich in karst landscape, beautiful caves and valleys, clear springs, green trees, clouds and mists, singing springs, and jagged rocks. All of these constitute a vivid picture of wonders. When you are in the scene, you will feel a sense of seclusion.

The main landscapes are tea garden, ancient and famous trees, Bayue temple, Xuantian palace, Sanfeng cave, Huiguang temple, Tiandeng stone, Qipan stone, Feilai stone, huangjuemen and so on.

It's said that yeyingfan is an immortal who arranges mountains and rivers in the sky. His work is a bit like ploughing. Adobe is most of the North-South hills in his hometown. Only Bayue mountain is an exception. Because ye Yingfan was tired, when he sat down to have a rest, Bayue mountain solidified into east-west direction. The mountain suddenly appeared on the flat ground. Yeyingfan's mistake was not allowed by heaven and earth, and he was punished to work as a coolie in the West. His name was also covered up by the reputation of the gods. So there is no yeyingfan's name in the fairy tales and books like Shanhaijing that I saw.

In Chinese culture, mountains or water are usually spiritual, and the myths given by people who don't know when and who are often secular and humane. Bayue mountain is also the enlightenment place of Taoism. It is said that "Sanfeng cave" is the place where Zhang Sanfeng, the founder of Taoism, practised.

In addition to the unique scenery, Bayue mountain is also one of the ancient tea areas in China, and is the earliest production place of tribute tea Shuinan tea in China. Bayue mountain tea was designated as king of Shu tribute tea in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty. There are many tea gardens in the forest, such as exquisite Hydrangea, green lake, fragrant. Bayue mountain tea garden in Yongchuan is one of them.

Located in Sanjiao Town, Yongchuan, the tea garden is located in the south of Bayue mountain, covering an area of about 5000 mu and producing about 500 tons of tea. There are more than ten varieties, such as Fuxuan 9 and Fuding Dabai tea, mainly including Jinfeng brand, Xinsheng brand and Yuzhou brand. The tea garden cultivates Xinsheng tea farm, one of the five leading tea enterprises in Yongchuan, and produces "Yongchuan Xiuya", "Biluochun" and other famous tea. "Yongchuan Xiuya" has been rated as a national famous tea and a famous brand agricultural product in Chongqing, with beautiful shape, green leaves and mellow taste. Xinsheng brand "Biluochun" of Yuzhou won the first prize of green tea in the eighth "Chinese tea" national famous tea competition.

Ji Shengyun: fifteen miles to the south of the county, there is the top pan Jue Ruo stove in Bayue mountain. Under it, there is Kunlun cave, which is rich in cangyu. It produces xianmaokan. In Changqing of the Tang Dynasty, the woodcutter can serve as an immortal. It also produces wood lotus, which is five or six feet high. Its leaves are like Phoebe, and its flowers are like Handan. There is a jade plate spring on the mountain, which tastes sweet and inexhaustible. It is said that in the past, people got the jade plate from a well, and it was as clear as a chime.
