Xiejia ancestral hall, also known as Nanbian ancestral hall, is a place for worshiping ancestors or sages in China. Located in Zhongshi South Street, Fangcun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, it is an ancient ancestral hall with Lingnan characteristics. It faces south from the north. The architectural layout is three openings, three entrances and two patios. The ancestral hall has a history of nearly 300 years. In July 1924, the peasant association of the first suburban district was established in nanbianci, which was the earliest peasant association at the district level in the suburb of Guangzhou. With the passage of time, the beibian Temple of the Xiejia temple was demolished in the 1980s. Fangcun experimental primary school was built on the original site, leaving only the Nanbian temple, which is well preserved. As the Xiejia temple is the former site of the farmers' Association in the first district of Guangzhou suburb, which belongs to the key cultural relics protection unit of Guangzhou City, the government is carrying out the restoration construction of Xiejia Temple recently.
