Huaiyuan ancient town

Huaiyuan ancient town is located in Chongzhou city. Its history can be traced back to more than 1600 years ago. It is small and covers only one square kilometer.

Most of the buildings in the ancient town were built in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, while maintaining the pattern of four gates and four streets. There are more than 30 existing streets, of which more than 10 are well preserved, including Xiaobei street, Nanjie street, Xiaxin street, Zhengxi street and Linjiang street.
