Lhamo La-tso

Ramlaco is a pocket Alpine horseshoe lake with an area of only 2 square kilometers, which is located in the qukejie cluster mountain 65km northeast of Jiacha county. Ramratso has a magical power in Tibetan Buddhism. The spiritual children of Dalai Lama and Panchen living Buddha all pass through ramratso. Tibetan Buddhists believe that they can see their past and present lives from the lake, so ramratso attracts many good men and women to go to the lake to find their past, present and future lives.

Lhamo La-tso

The most legendary Lake in Tibet. "RAM" means fairies and goddesses, "La" means lake surface, "RAM LaCO" means "auspicious Tianmu Lake" and "Shengmu Lake" in Tibetan. Also known as qiongguojieshen lake, the lake is more than 5000 meters above sea level. In the qukejie cluster mountain of Jiacha County, the altitude is more than 4000 meters. In Jiacha County, you can live in the county guest house, 10-15 yuan / bed, bungalow, TV, clean, hiking Jiacha Canyon, this road is very beautiful, many foreigners use this method. On the way, there are several small Tibetan villages, most of the Tibetans do not know Chinese, and it is difficult to ask the way. There are not many places suitable for camping on the road. Be careful not to miss them. Before arriving at Shenhu, you need to turn a mountain with a relative height of about 200-300 meters and a slope of about 70-80. It's all gravel roads. It's windy at the top of the mountain, full of prayer flags. There is a high platform on one side of the top of the mountain. It is said that the Dalai Lama once sat here, and the long cherished lakeshore is on the other side of the mountain. From the top of the mountain, Shenhu looks like a gourd. It is round at both ends and slightly thin in the middle. The lake is not big, about 2 square kilometers. The elevation of the lake is about 5000 meters. You can go back the same way, or you can go on foot from Qiong Guojie to SANGRI. That road is more thrilling and of course more beautiful.

The holy lake can present the future fate of everyone who goes to worship the holy lake. As long as he looks at the lake devoutly, the holy lake can show all kinds of future scenes for the pilgrims. The Dalai Lama and the reincarnated Lingtong of Panchen Lama of all ages in Tibet determined the direction and principle of their search through the vision of the holy lake, and the lake was also a mirror for countless faithful men and women to explore their own destiny.

Traffic information

To get to ramlacuo Shenhu, you have to take a shuttle bus from Lhasa long distance station to Zedang. There are many shuttle buses from Lhasa to Zedang. The earliest bus from Lhasa to Zedang leaves at 9:30 a.m. This section of the road is very good. It takes about 4 hours. The bus from Zedang to Jiacha only costs 60 yuan. Starting at 8 a.m. one third of the road from Zedang to Jiacha is made of cement, and the rest is Shizi Road, which runs directly along the Yarlung Zangbo River to Jiacha. The journey takes about 5 hours. Ramlaco Shenhu is 40-50 km away from Jiacha county. You can carpool from the county. The price of an off-road vehicle is about 1300 yuan / vehicle. You can reach the foot of Shenhu in an hour. You need to walk 300 meters to get off the mountain.
