Galang Lake

Galang lake, also known as Galang National Wetland Park, is located about 17km northwest of Bomi County, 228km away from Bayi Town. Galang lake is surrounded by mountains on all sides. There are many kinds of fish in the lake. Spruce, cypress and so on are luxuriant, creating the natural characteristics of the lake, glacier and primeval forest. It is said that more than 100 years ago, the galang Dynasty was located in the area of galang Lake in galang village, after 53 generations. It is surrounded by green mountains, towering ancient trees, beautiful natural scenery and unique architectural style. It is said that there are descendants of galang king.

Galang Lake

Galang lake is located in runa village and galang village in the northwest of Bomi County, Tibet. It is located on national highway 318, 1.7 km away from 318 line, 17 km away from the county seat, 228 km away from Bayi Town. It is about 4 km from the mountain of Bomi Kada bridge, passing through galang village. The lake covers an area of more than 15000 square meters. Surrounded by green mountains, towering ancient trees, beautiful natural scenery, unique style of residential buildings, as well as the site of the most famous "galang Dynasty" in Bomi and the descendants of galang king, it is the first choice for tourism development.

Both Guxiang lake and Yanwu lake are dammed lakes (so are Ranwu lake and Yigong Lake in Bomi county).

The barrier lake is formed by a landslide blocking the river. Bomi county is basically PALONG Zangbo water system.

Basic information

Galang village has 351 people in 62 households and 611 mu of arable land. By the end of 2004, the per capita annual income of the village is 2575 yuan, and the per capita cash income is 1956 yuan. The income of farmers in the village is mainly agriculture, supplemented by collecting forest resources, and the village has realized six links.

Beautiful scenery

From Bomi county to the west, after passing the Kada bridge, turn a hill to the northwest. The total journey is about 32 kilometers, and then you enter the runa village and galang village of Guxiang. Below the flat village of kalang is the mirror like lake of kalang. The surface of kalang lake is about 2 square kilometers, and the coast is covered with water, grass and flowers. Groups of yellow ducks, wild geese, wild ducks and black crowned cranes often fish in the middle of the lake. Standing on the bank overlooking the lake, you can see all the snow mountains, forests, villages and countryside around the lake. The surrounding scenery is even more beautiful and magical. It's refreshing, and the taste is beautiful. Here you can also hear a lot of magical folklore.
