In the early summer of 2002, Changzhi county Party committee and government invested heavily in the construction of Yandi culture, folk culture and cultural facilities embodying the achievements of modern civilization. They built "Lidu Park" on yangtouling, built Yandi statue and Yandi palace, and built stone carved sheep and towers embodying Yandi characteristics.

The magnificent east gate of the park stands on the west side of national highway 207. The broad cement road leads directly to the Peak Park. A tall statue of Emperor Yan is built on the top of yangtouling mountain. The Shennong family of Emperor Yan is in high spirits holding a grain, which becomes the symbol name of yangtouling mountain

Introduction to scenic spots

Lidu yangtouling, also known as lihouling, built many Yandi temples in yangtouling and its surrounding villages, and yangtouling Yandi temple is the largest. As soon as the temple enters the three courtyards, there is a theater building in the south of the temple, opposite to the temple gate, with a Qimen theater building on the front gate; there are East and West Wing rooms on the entrance gate, and along the stone steps, there is Shuilong hall, in which there are five grain gods, and on the walls are painted murals of the arduous pioneering work of Shennong, the ancestor of the Chinese nation. To the north of the hall is the hall of Emperor Yan. There is a statue of Emperor Yan in the hall. Shennong holds a grain ear in his hand and is in high spirits. Most of the Yandi temples in the villages around yangtouling were destroyed in the Anti Japanese war. Up to now, the ancient temple meeting of the eight gods agricultural festival in early April is still preserved in Liling village under yangtouling, and there are celebrations in front of Yandi temple in Beihe village. Yangtouling is surrounded by gullies, and the nine ridges are like nine dragons. There are huanglongquan and heilongquan in the south of the five ridges. Huanglongquan still exists today with sweet water. There is a raised mound on the ridge. It is said that there is a golden sheep's head buried on the mound. Yangtouling is also named after it.

Original name

Lidu yangtouling, also known as lihouling, covers an area of about 6 square kilometers. The highest point on the mountain is 1047 meters above sea level. According to the records of Changzhi county published by Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, "lihouling, 30 miles southwest of the county, where Liquan comes out, has lihouting; all the mountains are stone, which is the only earth mountain." In ancient times, Yandi, the first ancestor of China, led his tribe down the east side of the river to Mount Taihang and enter the present Changzhi county. Here, the rivers are crisscross, the forest is luxuriant, the grass is abundant, and the animals are dense, which is very suitable for the cave dwelling fishing and hunting life of primitive humans. So in today's yangtouling set up the capital, the establishment of the ancient state of Qi. Taking this as the center, we tasted all kinds of grasses, knew all kinds of grains and passed on farming in Changzhi county.
