The site of Hanyuan hall is located on the high hill at the south end of the original Longshou in the northern suburb of Xi'an, including the main hall, two pavilions, corridor, Tai, Longwei road and the square in front of the hall, with a total area of about 70000 square meters. High platform overlap, palace confrontation, pavilion, majestic. At present, the rammed earth platform, two pavilions and corridors still exist on the ground, which is magnificent and solemn. Hanyuan hall is the first main hall of the former dynasty in Daming Palace, and also the landmark of Chang'an City in Tang Dynasty. It was built in the third year of longshuo (663) and destroyed in the second year of Guangqi (886). It has existed for more than 220 years. During the period of new year's day and winter solstice, the emperors mostly held great celebrations here. It was an important political center of the Tang Dynasty.
