Dai ancestral hall

Daici tower, also known as Dongyue Xingci, also known as Daici Xinggong, has four Chongyou temples and five Dongyue temples. It is located in the east of Dazhai village, Chaoyi Town, Dali County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, 16.3km away from the east of the county. Dai Temple was built at an unknown time. It was rebuilt in the first year of Tang Zhenguan (AD 627) and built in the sixth year of Ming Longqing (AD 1572).

Structural features

Dai ancestral hall is 89 years wide from east to west and 129 meters long from north to south, covering a total area of 11480 square meters. The original buildings are Shanmen, zhongcenlou, Dongge Lou, Xidong Lou, Paifang, Xiangting, changchunge, zuozhonglou, yougulou, Xiandian, zuodang, Shuidian, etc. There are 72 mountain gods in Dongwu. These buildings are magnificent. They are arched, carved beams and painted buildings, but they are all destroyed because of damage. Only the Dai ancestral hall and Cen building are still in good condition.

artistic value

Cenlou building is the crystallization of the high wisdom of the working people with rich imagination and wonderful ideas in ancient China. It has high scientific and artistic value and is now a key cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province.

In addition, there is a stele named "Dongyue Temple rebuilt the second ancestral hall of Han Guan Fu Zi and general heir to the Virgin Mary" erected in the sixth year of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty. It is 2.23 meters high and 0.22 meters wide, with 8 lines of regular script and 418 words in total. The peripheral line is carved with vines and flower patterns.

Dai ancestral hall of the same name

Dai Temple cenlou, also known as Dai Temple Lou, commonly known as Dongyue Temple theater. It was first built in the eighth year of Zhenghe of Song Dynasty (AD 1118). It is located in the south of Dai ancestral temple, 17.5 meters high. It was added in the sixth year of Longqing of Ming Dynasty (AD 1572) and rebuilt many times in Qing Dynasty. After liberation, the party and the government renovated cenlou again from 1963 to 1964 on the basis of maintaining its original appearance. Cenlou has three overlapping eaves, standing through columns, covered with glass tubes and tiles, and inlaid with pearls and dragons, Dou Gong Tiao Jiao, carved beams and painted buildings. The north of the lower floor is a stage with spacious platform. Singing on the stage has a lingering feeling. The original terrace floor in the platform can be climbed up. When you climb the building and look into the distance, you can see the rolling iron sickle mountains in the north, the three majestic peaks of Taihua in the south, and the Yellow River, Luohe River and Weihe River. It makes you feel that the great rivers and mountains of the motherland are magnificent. There are ancient poems: "Dai ancestral temple is flexible, Ruicheng fetus, Dai building in Song Dynasty is magnificent", "Hua Yuan is towering, Dai ancestral temple is super, cenlou is connected with Zixiao".
