Sangba township is located 113 kilometers to the east of Diebu County, bordering on Lazikou Township in the East, Huayuan Township and wangzang Township in the west, and the township office is located in saidang temple. The township governs banzang, shazang, tangga, Ganxiang four administrative villages, 13 villager groups, with a total population of 3656 (2017), belonging to the Tibetan community.
