It covers an area of 7872 square meters, with a construction area of 3791 square meters, including 700 square meters of the preface hall, 266 square meters of the audio visual Education Hall, 380 square meters of the biodiversity hall, 180 square meters of the ecological hall and 180 square meters of the geological hall. The museum includes four functional areas: Exhibition functional area, collection and research functional area, service management functional area and sightseeing functional area. It has many social functions such as collection, exhibition, education, scientific research and so on. Ecohall wetland is a multi-functional and important ecosystem on the earth, known as the "kidney" of the earth. The theme of the exhibition "magic wetland" systematically introduces the concept, type, function and significance of wetland protection. The exhibition hall selects the representative wetland landscape in the Yellow River Delta Nature Reserve, and uses large-scale open simulation display technique to highlight the importance of wetland protection and the irreplaceable role of wetland in the ecosystem. The simulated wetland environment allows you to experience the environment, enrich your knowledge and bring you spiritual pleasure. Biodiversity hall all living things on the earth are interdependent. The extinction of each species will cause the biological chain reaction and bring disastrous ecological consequences. The exhibition hall displays 2127 animal and plant specimens of 956 species in eight categories according to the modern exhibition concept. Among them, there are 35 species and 38 pieces of national first and second level key protected animals. With a variety of specimens, the hall introduces you to the biodiversity knowledge of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects, marine shellfish, plants, etc., and focuses on reflecting the biodiversity characteristics of the new wetland in the Yellow River Estuary, so that you can feel the magic of the life world with a new vision. The exhibition hall of the Department of geology introduces in detail the historical changes, topography and formation process of the Yellow River Delta. The theme of "ore" exhibition systematically introduces the formation and exploitation process of oil. The interactive area is equipped with panoramic mirage and touch screen. Multimedia interactive technology is adopted. Through playing a series of interactive game software, such as "the mystery of animal survival", "the most animals in the world", "the cry of birds", "dinosaur jigsaw puzzle", "metamorphosis of insects" and so on, tourists' curiosity and sense of participation are stimulated, and you can learn rich and interesting knowledge in entertainment. The audio-visual education hall is equipped with projector, large screen, audio and other multimedia equipment. The trapezoidal design of indoor seats can accommodate 240 tourists to watch programs and rest here. In addition to continuous broadcasting of self-made promotional films, more than 100 TV and film films such as animal world have been prepared for tourists to demand.
