Chengshantou is located in the easternmost part of Shandong Peninsula. Its veins extend into the sea, which is the easternmost part of China's coastline. Chengshantou is also known as tianduan, chengshanjiao, shanzui and Gaojiao in Shandong Province. Due to its unique geographical location, there have been seven kinds of sayings such as Chaowu, Chengshan and Shenshan since ancient times.

Geographically speaking, it belongs to longxudao Town, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. The famous "end of the sky" is surrounded by sea on three sides and land on one side. It faces south Korea across the sea. It is only 94 nautical miles away. It is the easternmost end of China's land sea interface. It is the first place to see the sunrise of the sea. Because of this, it was approved as "national scenic spot" by the State Council in 1988.
