Xianrendong Forest Park is located in the northwest of the city, 1.5 km away from the city center. With Xianrendong mountain and its eastern flat as the main body, it is 1186 meters long from east to west and 1068 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of 85.76 hectares.

With Xianrendong mountain and its eastern flat as the main body, it is 1186 meters long from east to west and 1068 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of 85.76 hectares. Xianrendong mountain is 485 meters above sea level. There is an ancient natural cave at the foot of Shandong, called Xianrendong.

Scenic species

The eastern part of the park is flat, with an altitude of about 320 meters. The park is rich in groundwater resources, with high mountains and dense forests. There are 15 kinds of birds, more than 20 kinds of other wild animals, more than 50 kinds of forest plants, and the forest coverage rate is more than 80%. Xianren cave is the scenic spot of Panshi in history. The third scene of Panshi laobajing recorded in Panshi local records published in 1937, which is called "immortal cave".

Government support

In June 2002, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government decided to build Xianrendong Park in combination with the overall planning of medium-sized cities in Panshi City, and invited Jilin forestry survey, design and Research Institute to prepare the overall planning of Xianrendong park. In August of the same year, a "special meeting of Panshi Municipal People's Government on issues related to the development and construction of Xianrendong Park" was held, which made a resolution on tax reduction and various services for the park construction, and gave many preferential policies to developers. In May 2003, the Management Committee of Panshi Economic Development Zone signed an agreement on the development and construction of Xianrendong park with Panshi Fulilai Food Co., Ltd. The first phase of the project is planned to invest 16.4 million yuan in the construction of artificial lake, ski resort, horse race course and hotel. In that year, the forestry, water conservancy, civil affairs and other departments carried out the preliminary work of logging, drilling wells and removing graves according to the plan.
