Hanshan scenic spot is located in the middle and south section of Taihang Mountain, in houjiazhuang Township, Neiqiu County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province. It is 70 kilometers away from Neiqiu County in the East and 65 kilometers away from Xingtai City in the southeast. It has convenient transportation, Beijing Guangzhou railway, 107 National Highway and Beijing Shenzhen Expressway.

It is 70 kilometers away from Neiqiu County in the East and 65 kilometers away from Xingtai City in the southeast. It has convenient transportation, Beijing Guangzhou railway, 107 National Highway and Beijing Shenzhen Expressway. There is a provincial road Longxi (Longyao Xiyang) in the east-west direction. Hanshan scenic area is adjacent to Xiyang County, Shanxi Province and Hebei Shanxi provincial boundary in the West. It ends at liuzuoping, xingjiayu village in the East, pingtoupu village in the South and Xingyu village in the north, covering an area of 15 square kilometers. Hanshannao, the main peak of the scenic area, is 1806.3 meters above sea level, one of the highest peaks in Taihang Mountain section of Xingtai City.

Main attractions

Geotectonically, the scenic spot is located in the southwest of Zanhuang uplift in Taihang Mountain. After a long geological period of great crustal movement, long-term cutting of surface water and differential weathering, the red quartz sandstone of Proterozoic great wall system is widely exposed, forming four stepped Zhangshiyan landforms, commonly known as "stacks". Between stacks are cliffs of 100-200 meters. From bottom to top, it can be divided into four stacks: the bottom stack, the second stack, the third stack and the top stack. Above the three stacks, the mountain is composed of Cambrian limestone of Paleozoic. From afar, red cliff, peak forest like a sword, steep clouds, magnificent.
