Dezhou people's Park, built in 1958, is located in the south of Dongfeng Middle Road, the east of Xiangyang South Road and the west of Jiefang South Road in Decheng District, covering a total area of 12 hectares (including 6.67 hectares of East Lake water). The people's Park is a comprehensive park with animal breeding exhibition area, flower park, flower exhibition area, children's Park, cruise station and other facilities. It is the only comprehensive park in northern Shandong and Southern Hebei. In 1997, it was named "top ten civilized Park" by Shandong provincial government.
