Fire Museum

Qingdao Fire Museum is the first "fire" theme professional museum in China, which was established by the former Ministry of public security

Director Jia Chunwang personally wrote the title of the museum. With a total area of 600 square meters, [2] consists of two parts: fire history exhibition and public fire education. The fire history exhibition part includes: preface hall, Centennial fire exhibition hall, Yinglie hall and audio-visual exhibition hall. Through a large number of historical materials, pictures and fire equipment, it shows the centennial development process of Qingdao fire. The Fire Museum takes "fire red" as the background color, and the shape changes of fire engines and fire hydrants as the basic modeling and decoration. The partitions between the exhibition halls are designed and made according to the shape changes of fire engines. The details successfully show the theme of "fire fighting". In terms of public fire education, the exhibition area of fire fighting clothing and equipment, fire fighting experience, simulated escape experience and fire recovery of Huangdao Oil Depot were added. Fire Museum

The Fire Museum is located in the fire station command building at the junction of Liansheng road and Jinghu road. The fire station command building has a history of more than 80 years, with the style of southern Europe, simple and solemn, and has been rated as one of the buildings with architectural art value by the Macao government.

The exhibition area is divided into two different styles: the main exhibition hall and the inner exhibition hall. The main exhibition hall covers an area of 3500 square feet, with more than 600 exhibits. There are many valuable objects and precious pictures on display in the main exhibition hall. The command building of the fire station is two stories high. The ground floor used to be the parking place for fire engines, and the second floor is the dormitory for duty members. After changing it into a museum, the dummy was used to imitate the scene of firemen sliding down from the dormitory on the second floor. It is one of the characteristic museums in Macao. Nearby are Maritime Museum, Songshan, Songshan lighthouse and other attractions.
