Round hill in Tiantan Park
Located in the southern half of the temple of heaven, it was built in the ninth year of Jiajing (1530). It faces south from the north, surrounded by red palace walls and decorated with green glazed tiles. It is the place where the emperor held the winter solstice ceremony, also known as the temple of heaven.
