North City Village

The northern city village is another famous Ming and Qing style village fortress tourist destination in Yuxian County. The village was built in the fourth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. The tall Fort gate is built with blue bricks, and the three big red characters of "North City" are strong and powerful, hanging high above the fort gate. A straight road leads to a temple behind the village, and on both sides of the road are rows of Ming and Qing style courtyard houses. It is one of the typical north courtyard buildings and traditional villages with relatively complete preservation of China's urban pattern, and it is also a good place to study North China To an important base of Chinese history and folk culture. It's a pity that the castle wall has been broken and can't be connected. Strolling in the castle, you seem to be in a cultural town a hundred years ago.
