Kaiyang village is located in the northeast of Tongluo community, Taoyuan Town, Wujiang City, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is connected with Shengze Town in the north, and across the river from Xincheng Town, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province along the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal in the East. The whole village covers an area of 2.607 square kilometers, with collective owned agricultural land of 1350 mu, and all seedlings are planted. There are 14 villager groups with a total population of 1762. Established in December 2004, the village Party General Branch has three branches, including agriculture, industry and Suzhou shengshenghua Liquor Co., Ltd., with a total of 71 party members. The current agriculture and sideline industry of Kaiyang village is mainly seedling planting, and the per capita income of farmers in 2009 was 12526 yuan. Village level industry is mainly characterized by wine making and textile. There are 12 private enterprises, including health flower wine industry, Weimin Chengxin weaving, Ziyang weaving, Zhenlian chemical fiber weaving, Tongluo No.2 seasoning and sauce factory. Among them, 2 enterprises have an annual output value of more than 10 million yuan, and 4 enterprises belong to the "double belt" type of Party members and cadres.
