Located in the northern mountain area of Pinggu, guajiayu is a part of the southern foot of Yanshan mountain. It is surrounded by mountains in the north, East and south, and a small Hilly Basin in the middle, covering an area of about 5 square kilometers. There are 146 households and 460 people in guajiayu village, which has a long history and culture. It is said that the village was formed in the Chongzhen period of Ming Dynasty. Because Yang yanzhao, a famous general of Song Dynasty, triumphantly returned from the Liao Dynasty, he took the village as guajiayu.
