Fushan garden is located in the northwest of Taiyuan City, in the West Village of Jiancaoping District, close to Zhongbei University, Shanxi University. It is the hometown of Mr. Fushan. Mr. Fu Shan has made remarkable achievements in Social Sciences and natural sciences, especially in the fields of medicine, literature and art. His works, such as collection of frost red niches, Fu Qingzhu's female subjects, and miscellany of male subjects, have been handed down from generation to generation. Fu Shan is highly praised by later generations, and has a unique evaluation that "poetry is not as good as words, words are not as good as painting, painting is not as good as medicine, and medicine is not as good as people". After entering the park, you can walk along the archway, mingjingtai, Fugong temple, Zhuangyuan bridge, Zhenshan hall and Dongting courtyard. You can follow Mr. Fu Shan's footprints, appreciate his great achievements in literature, art, medicine and other fields, and feel his spiritual world.

Fushan garden is located in the northwest of Taiyuan, about 20 kilometers away from the city. Take bus No.15 and no.835 from the east of Shengli Bridge in Taiyuan city to the West Village in half an hour

Fu Shan garden is built to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Fu Shan. After entering the garden, we will walk along the archway, mingjingtai, Fugong temple, Zhuangyuan bridge, Zhenshan hall and Dongting courtyard. We will follow Mr. Fu Shan's footprints, appreciate his great achievements in literature, art, medicine and other fields, and feel his spiritual world.

Introduction to scenic spots

The archway of Chinese Fushan garden has three doors, six columns and seven roofs. Five powerful characters "Chinese Fushan garden" written by Mr. Yao Dianzhong are engraved on the central stone tower, and Mr. Fushan's couplet is engraved on the column of the middle door. This archway has vivid shape and fine workmanship. It uses various carving techniques to express Chinese folk patterns, giving people a kind of enjoyment of beauty. The Ming mirror platform is connected with the screen wall and built opposite to the mountain gate. It is designed to imitate the Ming scroll shed style Xieshan ancient building. It is an important place for the cultural activities of "Chinese Fu mountain garden".

The screen wall, built in the center of the Shipai building door, is an ancient building imitating Ming Dynasty style. The wall is plastered with plain ash. It is painted with a picture of "jueshanwei sightseeing" which is one of the eight scenes outside ancient Jinyang. The whole picture has a novel theme and bright colors, giving people a sense of beauty.

Fu Gong Temple

Located in the middle of the whole park, Fugong temple is an important building on the North-South central axis. It is an imitation of Ming Taoist architecture. The architectural form is a single eaves resting peak, which fully reflects the simple, powerful, dignified and heavy style. The front door is inlaid with "Daohe", "Fengqing", "daotong" and "Shuanghong" in Fushan font.

Champion Bridge

Zhuangyuan bridge is built on the octagonal stone panchi. The main bridge tunnel adopts the form of traditional Chinese Hongqiao arch. The structure is made of bluestone, and the middle is the main bridge arch. The two sides of the bridge deck are equipped with 12 zodiac stone railings of traditional Chinese culture, which contain a kind of cultural information. Like Fu Shan, we should read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles, and truly become a "practical" talent. Four white marble vases are placed at both ends of the bridge, which is unique and aesthetic.

Stone Man

Shidaoren is a strange stone in Fushan ancestral temple. It stands behind Zhuangyuan bridge and in front of Dongting courtyard. The stone is shaped like the character "Shan" in Chinese characters. The stone is hard beidaqing granite. Therefore, the name of this strange stone "stone Taoist" is because Fu Shan once became a monk in order to avoid shaving. His name is Zhenshan, and he is also called Zhuyi Taoist. It shows Mr. Fu Shan's indomitable and independent spirit of "his ambition is strong and firm, just like a stone", so this stone is named "stone Taoist". It is also another annotation and interpretation of Mr. Fu Shan's name as Qingzhu and stone Taoist. It also increases the cultural landscape of the whole park.

Zhenshan Hall

The Zhenshan Hall of Fushan garden is the main landmark building in the whole park. It is built at the north end of the central axis of Fushan garden. It is the main place for people to worship Fushan. The hall faces south. It is seven rooms wide and three rooms deep. The plane is rectangular. It has four eaves and a corridor. It is supported by a green stone terrace foundation and a double eaves Xieshan style roof. It is stable and covered with green tile ridge It is decorated with purplish red columns and painted beams, forming a simple and dignified, elegant and pure Ming Taoist style.

The main hall is built with a granite statue of Mr. Fu Shan. This statue adopts the artistic technique of concrete and realistic. It shows a dignified, resolute, kind and temperament historical and cultural celebrity in front of people. This statue has both form and spirit, which makes people awe.

In the middle of the back of the statue of Fu Shan, there is a wooden plaque of "Qi Sheng Dao Cheng", which imitates Fu Shan's writing before his death.

Wei Yiao

Standing on both sides of the statue of Fu Shan, the twelve calligraphy strips are presented to Wei Yiao by Mr. Fu Shan. The traditional wood craft and artistic processing are used to show the artistic charm of the strips. The calligraphy works are powerful, multi-faceted and even in size, representing the original artistic style of "four Ning and four Wu" in Fu Shan's calligraphy.

Dongting courtyard

Dongting courtyard is another unique architecture in Fugong temple. It imitates the architectural form of the Taoist temple and is built with traditional crafts and materials. The surface is mounted with stone, showing the charm of the Taoist temple courtyard. It has five main caves on the surface and two small caves on the side for entrance and exit.

Inside the cave are displayed Mr. Fu Shan's life story and his academic and artistic achievements in thought, Academy, culture, calligraphy, painting, epigraphy, exegesis, poetry, drama and martial arts. Fu Shan, an encyclopedic "wonder man" in China's ideological and cultural circles in the 17th century, is fully displayed.

Commercial Street

Fushan cultural commercial street is located in Shanglan new area. It is a supporting project of Fushan Memorial Hall. It is backed by Langlang Longtou Erlong mountain, facing green Yingran Fenhe Park and agricultural ecological park, South to Xinlan road and Binhe East Road, West to Baimu ecological park, high in the north and low in the South. The surrounding scenic spots, beautiful scenery and pleasant air.

In 1994, the first batch of painters settled in Songzhuang; in 2005, Songzhuang became the largest original artist community in China; in 2011, Fushan culture commercial street of Fushan garden in Shanxi Province is intended to be a "Taiyuan painter village", gathering artists, building a platform for artists to create and exchange, and becoming the only art gathering place in Shanxi Province.
