Jiayuguan City Museum is located at 1379 Wuyi South Road, Jiayuguan City, east of Xiongguan square. It covers an area of 20986 square meters, a building area of 11038 square meters, a total height of 21.45 meters, and an exhibition area of 6520 square meters. It was officially opened on August 20, 2008. It has been rated as a national 3A tourist attraction, a patriotism education base in Gansu Province, a care for the next generation education base in Gansu Province, and a Jiayuguan City Museum Guanshi youth education base, Jiayuguan women's and children's activity center.

Jiayuguan City Museum is located at 1379 Wuyi South Road, Jiayuguan City, east of Xiongguan square. It was officially opened on August 20, 2008. It has been rated as a national 3A tourist attraction, a patriotism education base in Gansu Province, a care for the next generation education base in Gansu Province, and a Jiayuguan City Museum Guanshi youth education base, Jiayuguan women's and children's activity center. The permanent basic Exhibition "Gobi pearl Jiayuguan" takes the development process of Jiayuguan as the main line, the Great Wall culture and the Silk Road culture as the link, a large number of precious pictures and physical display as the basis, and vivid scene restoration, multimedia demonstration and interaction as the basis, showing the history, culture, cultural relics, local conditions and customs, national style of "Gobi pearl" Jiayuguan, It is a national free museum.

Jiayuguan City Museum now has "five departments and one room", namely the Ministry of social education, collection and research department, comprehensive management department, security department, tourist service department and office. At present, there are 16 full-time employees and nearly 11 auxiliary employees. Among them, there are 15 personnel with bachelor degree or above, accounting for 94% of the corresponding number of employees. There are 7 professional and technical personnel in regular staff, including 3 with intermediate title and 4 with primary title.

Since its opening, Jiayuguan City Museum has been adhering to the guiding ideology of "serving public cultural undertakings and the people", actively doing a good job in the accumulation, publicity and social education of Jiayuguan's history and culture, and giving full play to the social functions of public cultural venues. In daily work, the museum conscientiously does a good job of explanation service for tourists, actively implements the voluntary propaganda work of Party member activities in enterprises and institutions, army officers and soldiers, and youth teams, and seriously carries out the "five entry" activities of mobile exhibitions in schools, communities, enterprises, troops, and rural areas.

2、 Exhibition hall of "never forget the original intention, remember the mission"

The exhibition hall, covering an area of about 400 square meters, takes the space-time development as the main axis and the glorious course of Party Construction in Jiayuguan City as the coordinate, fully demonstrating the great practice and important achievements of Jiayuguan City in comprehensively and strictly administering the party since the 18th CPC National Congress. The exhibition hall is divided into three parts: high banner, forward "engine" and vivid practice.

2、 Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday (closed at 16:30) and closed on Monday (except legal holidays).
