Longtou reservoir is used to store water in Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

Reservoir introduction

Longtou reservoir in Yongjia County is a small (second) type reservoir mainly for domestic water and irrigation. Longtou reservoir is located about 1.5km to the east of Longtou village, Oubei Town, Yongjia County. The reservoir was built in 1956. The rainwater collection area above the dam site is 0.65km2. After danger removal and reinforcement, the maximum dam height is 19.00m, the normal storage capacity is 107500m3, and the total storage capacity is 143200m3. It is a small (second) type reservoir with a beneficiary population of about 4000 people and an irrigation area of about 700mu. With the completion of the security project of Longtou reservoir, it has become a small local scenic spot, which plays a role in ensuring the safety of people's lives and property in the downstream, promoting the sustainable development of local economy and the construction of new countryside.
