Jichai Cultural Plaza

The cultural square, formerly known as the geological Palace Square, is the largest city square in the city. It is located in the center of Changchun City. Historically, the geological Palace Square was planned as the national capital Guangchang square of the puppet Manchuria state. The north-south axis is from the center line of Xinmin Street road to the center of the main building of the geological Palace Square. The total length of the central axis is 429 meters. From south to north, it is arranged as the main entrance of the square and the North-South main road. In the center of the central square is the Sunbird sculpture, in the north is the open-air music arena, across the East-West main road is the main building vestibule square of 10000 square meters, and in the north is the main building of the geological palace. The whole central axis is paved with natural granite, giving people a natural, solemn and heavy feeling. Both sides of the central square and the main entrance are green square land and Garden Road land, with a total area of 40000 square meters. Square pigeons are also raised to add interest to the whole square.
