Zhanjiang Temple

Zhanjiang temple is located on the Bank of Songhua River in Wukeshu town. It is one of the important tourist attractions in Songhua River tourist area of Changchun Wukeshu modern agricultural industry development zone. Its predecessor was Guandi temple, which was destroyed during the cultural revolution. In the early 1990s, Kuanyan master, a Buddhist figure, invested to resume the construction of "Guandi Temple" and named it "Zhanjiang Temple". In 2001, it was approved by the "No. 13 document of Chang Zong Fa" issued by the Religious Affairs Administration Bureau of Changchun Municipal People's government, and it was built on a large scale.

Zhanjiang temple covers an area of 32407 square meters, with a construction area of 12000 square meters, including a main hall with a construction area of 360 square meters, a heavenly king hall with a construction area of 200 square meters, a Sleeping Buddha Hall and a sutra collection building with a construction area of 260 square meters, a Puxian hall and a Manjusri hall with a construction area of 120 square meters, and a Buddhist hall, a zhaifang and a Liao room with a construction area of 540 square meters.

Zhanjiang temple under construction has been constantly improved. In 2003, the main body of guanyinyuan was completed, covering an area of 8000 square meters, and the building complex covers an area of 6400 square meters. On October 1, 2003, the opening ceremony of water Reclining Buddha in guanyinyuan attracted tens of thousands of tourists. In 2004, the dizang Academy was expanded, covering an area of 3000 square meters and a construction area of 160 square meters. In 2005, the main body of the main hall was completed, and a "Nine Dragon Wall" was built beside the river; a water park and a 12 meter high Guanyin Buddha were built in Jiangxin Island; in 2006, a corridor was built between the Mountain Gate of Zhanjiang temple and Jiangxin Island, leading to the island. There are 10 monks in Zhanjiang temple. They have been engaged in Buddhist affairs for many years. They take patriotism and love religion as their duty and receive tens of thousands of Buddhist believers and tourists every year
